Our Mission

Connecting Children with Jesus in a Nurturing and Challenging Academic Environment

5days until
Spring Break

Aloha and welcome to
Our Redeemer Lutheran School
Our Redeemer Lutheran School is a private, Christian co-educational school for students in Preschool through Grade 8.   We offer a comprehensive and challenging academic program and we work to establish and maintain a partnership with the parents to foster open communication between home and school.

Students are drawn from all parts of Oahu and it is our intent to maintain a student body of all socio-economic groups in our island community.  Students attend Religion, Music, Art, Library, Computer and PE classes.  Middle School students select their elective classes each quarter.

Before and After School Care is available.

SMART BOARDS
Two NEW Smart Boards will be installed in the Computer Lab and in the Middle School Science Lab during the month of March, 2010.  Our Redeemer sees the value of continually upgrading the school's technology, so that the students have the most current technology available.

FINANCIAL AID
Our Redeemer understands the importance of granting financial aid to it's families and future families.  Any family wishing to be granted financial aid should fill out a SSS PFS Form and submit it to the SSS Company.  Ask for a Financial Aid Application when you apply.  There is no guarantee that financial aid will be granted, but families are encouraged to submit an application, a copy of their 1040 Form (the first 2 pages), and a copy of their W2 Form(s).  For questions about the Financial Aid process, please ask the Admissions Director Lisa Pelt at 945-7765 EXT 224.

ROOF PE AREA REPAVED
One of the goals at Our Redeemer is to continually improve the campus and facilities for the children and their families.  We are happy to announce that the PE Area has been improved and it looks awesome!

PRESCHOOL
Our Redeemer has TWO Preschool Sites.  Currently there are openings in the 3 & 4 year old class and a waitlist for the 2 year old class.  Call the Admissions Director at EXT. 224 to APPLY YOUR KEIKI TODAY!

NO FURLOUGH FRIDAYS!
Our Redeemer DOES accept children ALL YEAR until seats are filled.  FINANCIAL AID is STILL available for the 2009-2010 school year.  Call the Admissions Director and find out how you can apply your child for openings that are still AVAILABLE NOW!

SERVICE PROJECTS HELP STUDENTS GIVE BACK TO OTHERS ON OAHU

The ORLS Parent Teacher organization sponsored a donation drive for the children, and their families, that attend Kamaile Elementary School in Waianae.  The donated items were delivered to the school on Monday, December 14, 2009 by ORLS Parents.  The children helped bring items to donate and they helped load the vans that took the items to the Waianae school.

The members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church also donated many items.  Earlier in the year, the PTO also raised $3,000.00 for the Ronald McDonald House Charity.  The students sold over 1,900 coupon booklets for the school and the charity.
